Phule’s Armada is a company in Hamilton, Ontario. We build machines that people own outright and run in their own rooms.

Our first is Gedō, a workstation that reads an office’s private files and answers with the page each answer came from.

Your work stays with you.

Most AI software asks you to upload your files to a server you will never see, under terms that can change after you agree to them. The records your work depends on become a tenant.

We build the machine instead. It sits in your office, you own it, and it keeps working with the network cable unplugged.

Phule’s Armada is built on a simple belief: there’s always another move. We look past the obvious, explore new routes, and turn unusual ideas into things people can use.

Four rules we build to.

  1. 01

    The machine is yours.

    You pay once. There is no subscription and no account with us to keep active. The hardware and everything on it belong to you.

  2. 02

    It runs without a network.

    The Sovereign Lab workstation has its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth removed or disabled before delivery. Gedō Search and Gedō Draft run offline on the laptop you already own.

  3. 03

    Every answer names its source.

    Gedō answers with the passage it used and where it came from, so you can open the document at the page, or the recording at the second, and check.

  4. 04

    You can see what we did.

    We write down how we handled your files. When a contract ends, we erase the drives to NIST SP 800-88 and give you a signed certificate.
